About the Author
LUCILE STEPHENS RICHARDSON, ED.D, a licensed and ordained minister and
educator, is the provost of the International Leadership Training
Institute and acting executive director of the International Third World
Leaders Association, under the leadership of Dr. Myles Munroe in Nassau,
Bahamas.
Prior to moving to the Bahamas in 1998, Dr. Richardson served as the
head of the Education Department at BIOLA University, where she was
selected for Who’s Who Among America’s Outstanding Professors. While at BIOLA, Dr. Richardson was selected to teach at RICE University in Hong
Kong as an adjunct summer professor. She has also provided educational
training and administrative consulting to private Christian schools in
Hong Kong, China, Papua New Guinea and Sydney, Australia.
Lucile received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Claflin
University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Upon graduation at age 19, she
accepted a secondary teaching position with the Prince Georges County
Public Schools in Maryland. She later became a recipient of the National
Science Foundation Grant to pursue a master’s degree in earth sciences
at American University in Washington, D.C. Her move to Los Angeles,
California, soon led her to complete a master’s degree in educational
administration at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles,
California, and later a doctorate degree in education with an emphasis
in institutional management and curriculum development from Pepperdine
University in Malibu, California.
In November, 2006, Dr. Lucile Richardson was the recipient of the
International Third World Leaders Association Annual Leadership Award in
Church Education. She was also honored as one of the 2006 Most
Outstanding Singles In Bahamas Faith Ministries International Fellowship
in Nassau, Bahamas.
Born the youngest of six children and raised in the cotton fields of
South Carolina, Dr. Richardson brings a hearty laughter, a mothering
spirit, and a deep desire to see others rise up and pursue their purpose
in life. She is a woman of faith whose life testimony will inspire you
to never ever give up on life, for your best is yet to come!
